Are you the person we are looking for?

EOA is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Event Co-ordinator to produce events from conception through to completion. The responsibilities include providing outstanding customer service and organising memorable events that meet our clients’ expectations.

Description:

Event co-ordinator responsibilities include providing outstanding customer service and organising memorable events that meet clients expectations.

Event planning, design and production while managing all project delivery elements within time limits

Ability to engage with junior as well as senior high-profile clients to identify their needs and to ensure customer satisfaction

Conduct market research, gather information and negotiate contracts prior to closing deals

Provide feedback and periodic reports to stakeholders

Propose ideas to improve provided services and event quality

Organise facilities and manage all event’s details such as technical/AV, decor, catering, entertainment, transportation, location, inviteelist, special guests, equipment, promotional material etc

Ensure compliance with insurance, legal, health and safety obligations

Specify staff requirements and coordinate their activities

Close communication with marketing and PR team to promote andmarket the event

Proactively handle any challenges and trouble-shoot any emerging problems on the event day

Conduct pre-and post –event evaluations and report on outcomes

Market research, identify event opportunities and generate interest

Ability to work under pressure and work within a team

Time management ability

Quality oriented and people-centered

Multi-tasking

Team player –sense of humour helpful

Willingness to work long/flexible hours when required

Ability to travel nationally as and when required

Own Transportation

Requirements:

Ability to create and manage a Project Plan from A –Z

Strong administrative skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Thorough understanding of theindustry

Attention to detail

Strong logistic and co-ordination skills

Good telephone manner, well-spoken and presentable

Portfolio of previously managed events (Meetings, Corporate Events)

Excellent time management and communication skills

Sales skills and ability to build productive business relationships

Ability to manage multiple projects independently

Willing to submit references from previous clients

Education & Experience:

3 years’ experience in events, diploma or certificate in Event Management, strong MS Office proficiency

Experience in organising and executing medical conferences/industry events will be an advantage.
